Blueface’s encounters with the law have been numerous. In late 2018, he faced arrest after shooting at a man’s vehicle during an attempted robbery at a gas station. He was charged with a felony for shooting at an occupied vehicle and released on bail soon after the event. In early 2019, he was arrested once more for felony possession of a firearm.

In October 2022, Blueface was apprehended in Las Vegas on accusations of attempted murder and firearm use. He was incarcerated at the Clark County Detention Center for these charges but later accepted a plea deal, receiving three years of probation. Should he face any legal issues during this probation, a 2-5 year prison sentence would automatically apply.

The shooting incident occurred at Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas, leading to a lawsuit from the club’s owner due to lost revenues that resulted from having to close the establishment. On October 23, 2023, this owner was awarded a judgment of $13 million against Blueface. The total judgment amounted to $13,072,482, comprising $12.6 million for lost revenues, $200,000 for “lease damages,” and $84,000 in employee-related expenses. Blueface neither appeared in court to contest the ruling nor had legal representation present. As of January 2024, having made no payments toward the damages, his debt had escalated to $14 million including accrued interest and penalties.

In mid-January 2024, Blueface was once again arrested, this time for breaching probation associated with a 2021 assault in the San Fernando Valley.

Early Life

Born Jonathan Michael Porter on January 20, 1997, in Los Angeles, California, Blueface lived with his mother in the Santa Clarita Valley before moving to Oakland to stay with his father. Returning to the Los Angeles area, he attended Arleta High School, where he played in the marching band and began as the starting quarterback for the football team. In 2014, he helped lead his team to an East Valley League championship. Later, he played college football at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina but departed from the university in 2016.
