In 2004, along with her fellow students from Laguna Beach High School, including Lo Bosworth, Kristin Cavallari, and Stephen Colletti, Conrad was cast in the MTV reality series “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.” This show followed their high school lives, particularly highlighting the love triangle involving Conrad, Cavallari, and Colletti during its first season. After graduating high school, Conrad attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco for one semester where she met Heidi Montag, then switched to the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles.
Conrad departed from “Laguna Beach” after the second season, leading to the production of the spin-off series “The Hills” in 2006. This new show chronicled the lives of Conrad, her housemate Montag, and friends Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port. They were married in September 2014 and share two sons.
