Early Life

Shaun Roger White was born on September 3, 1986, in San Diego, California. He grew up alongside his parents, Roger and Cathy, as well as his older siblings, Jesse and Kari. Shaun was born with a congenital heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot, resulting in two open-heart surgeries during his childhood. He began snowboarding early, inspired by his brother, and the White family frequently visited Bear Mountain and Okemo Mountain ski resorts.
