Early Life

Born as Michael Lamar White II on June 18, 1999, in Canton, Ohio, Redd grew up in Columbus, Ohio, with his younger and older brothers. His mother often played music during his childhood, exposing him to artists such as Ashanti, Beyonce, Tupac, and Nas. As he grew older, he gravitated toward the sounds of artists like T-Pain, Kiss, Nirvana, Green Day, the Offspring, and Simple Plan. Tragically, his older brother, known as Dirty Redd, was killed in a car accident in 2014.
